چکیده

In the last years, an important renewal of plant material from different breeding programs is taking place in apricot order to improve resistance biotic stresses, extension harvest season, fruit quality, and productivity. However, graft compatibility many these cultivars with most popular Prunus rootstocks unknown, this essential agronomical trait for their better performance longevity. Hence, introduction new requires knowledge extent nature incompatibility reactions before releasing on market. study, determination was carried out 13 grafted four rootstocks: ‘Marianna2624’ (P. cerasifera × P. musoniana), ‘Miragreen’ davidiana), ‘Mirared’ Nemared), ‘Montclar’ persica L. seedlings) at early stages development. By combining cytomorphological, anatomical, phenylalanine ammonia-lyase (PAL) gene expression analysis interface, as well vegetative parameters, results highlighted promising apricot, showing highest degree more than 90% cultivars. These provide useful information breeders growers by selecting suitable scion-rootstock efficient orchard design planting compatible combinations.

Effects of Drought Stress on Almond Cultivars Responses Grafted on Different Rootstocks

In this study, the response of selected almond cultivars on different rootstocks under drought stress base on Morpho-physiological traits using a factorial experiment in a randomized complete block design with three replications was investigated. The experimental was carried out at the Temperate Fruit Research Center of Horticultural Sciences Research Institute (HSRI) in 2016. The factors inclu...

Photosynthetic Changes of "prunus Avium L." Grafted on Different Rootstocks in Relation to Mineral Deficiencies

The performance of three different rootstock (Adara (Prunus cerasifera L.), SL 64 (Prunus mahaleb), and Colt (Prunus avium x Prunus pseudocerasus)) as nutrient suppliers has been studied for sweet cherry cultivars (Prunus avium L.). The results obtained suggested that, depending on the rootstock, the trees are submitted to different degrees of stress. According to the data obtained, it could be...

Graft Compatibility Between Peach Cultivars and Prunus Rootstocks

Trials were established at Aula Dei Experimental Station (EEAD-CSIC, Zaragoza, Spain) to assess graft compatibility between peach cultivars [Prunus persica (L.) Batsch] and new Prunus spp. rootstocks or selections. Peach cvs. Catherina and Tebana and nectarine cvs. Big Top and Summergrand were grafted on peach seedlings, plum rootstocks, almond x peach hybrids, and other interspecific rootstock...

Physiological, biochemical and molecular responses in four Prunus rootstocks submitted to drought stress.

An understanding of the mechanisms that determine plant response to reduced water availability is essential to improve water-use efficiency (WUE) of stone fruit crops. The physiological, biochemical and molecular drought responses of four Prunus rootstocks (GF 677, Cadaman, ROOTPAC 20 and ROOTPAC(®) R) budded with 'Catherina' peach cultivar were studied. Trees were grown in 15-l containers and ...

Soluble Sugars and Sucrose-Metabolizing Enzymes Related to Cold Acclimation of Sweet Cherry Cultivars Grafted on Different Rootstocks

The bark tissues were collected from 4-year-old sweet cherry trees cvs. 0900 Ziraat and Lambert grafted on Gisela 5 and Mazzard rootstocks in cold-acclimated (CA) and nonacclimated (NA) stages. Bark tissues subjected to 4 °C and -5 °C injured to a limited extent in both stages. However, more than 50% injury occurred by temperatures equal to or colder than -15 °C only in NA period. Total soluble...
